Lab Facilities
In Mechanical engineering different labs are available with sufficient equipments or machineries as per requirement of different semesters and subjects.
Department Laboratories
- Machine Shop
- In machine shop, machinists use machine tools and cutting tools to make part, usually of plastic or metals, but sometime of other materials such as glass or wood. The machine tools typically includes lathes, mill up machines, grinding machines, drill up machines, shaper etc.
- Fluid Mechanics Lab
- A basic knowledge of fluid mechanics is essential for all the mechanical engineering. This lab is used for experimentation on the properties and behavior of fluids.
- CAD Lab
- CAD lab is equipped with AUTOCAD software and is extensively used for design and drawing.
- Strength of Materials Lab
- SOM Lab facilitates is to demo states the basic principles in the area of strength and mechanics of material and structure analysis in this lab experiments are performed to measure the properties of material such as impact strength, tensile strength compressive strength hardness, ductility etc.
- Material Science Lab
- The lab is well- equipped and enables students to understand the basic structure of materials major equipments in lab are microscope, furnace, polishing machine etc.
- Thermodynamics Lab
- The lab is well equipped and enables the students to understand the basic construction of two stroke & four stroke expired brokers, basic parts of engine like carburetor, fuel injection system, engine cooling system etc.

Mechanical Engineering is the discipline that applies engineering, physics engineering, mathematics and material science principles to design, analyze manufacture and maintain mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest of engineering disciplines.
