A code hack competition was organized by department of CSE and Department of Computer Application for the students of semester-III. Also students of BCA and MCA participated in this event. The students showcased their programming skills using C++. The students were given problems which they were supposed to solve in stipulated time frame.

Recognized Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level and have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
The department of Computer Application is enriched with computing facilities like well-equipped laboratories with modern computing environments, ventilated and well-furnished classrooms; we provide a pleasant working environment for students to undertake their practical and assignment work. Final year students have entire lab at their disposal to carry out their project work with high speed internet connectivity to help them accomplish their research objectives. The department has Systems with Dual core 2.7GHz, 2GB Ram, 500 GB HDD in six computer labs. All the required software’s are installed with antivirus with periodic updates and maintenance of laboratories is at a high priority.

C & C++ Language Lab
This lab is dedicated to first year’s students. “C programming Laboratory” is there to understand the basic concept of programming. C is a very detailed programming language and is one of the languages that anyone can start with.
Project Lab
This lab is 100 % dedicated for final year students for their project work. Only the final year students have access to this lab where each student is assigned a system. The Lab is well equipped with modern desktop environments, well ventilated and well furnished.
Java Programming Lab
The goal of this lab is to provide students with the ability to write programs in Java and apply concepts described in the Object-Oriented Programming course. Each practical class will culminate in an assessed exercise. This lab is to make students be able to use the Java SDK environment to create, debug and run Java programs.
Networking Lab
The purpose of this Lab is to be able to explain, configure, verify, and troubleshoot complex computer networks at an introductory level. This Lab helps to learn basic concepts of computer networking and acquire practical notions of protocols with the emphasis on TCP/IP. It provides a practical approach to Ethernet/Internet networking.
Linux Lab
This lab is used to familiarize students with the Linux environment, fundamentals of shell scripting/programming, To familiarize students with basic Linux administration. The objective of this lab is to introduce the students to LINUX kernel programming techniques and also the advanced C systems programming and debugging techniques in a LINUX environment.
Computer Graphics Lab
The Computer Graphics and Multimedia Laboratory is established for the purpose of providing working area for development of Computer Graphics and Multimedia to the Software Engineering. It is to introduce the necessary background, the basic algorithms, and the applications of computer graphics and image processing.
Database Lab
This lab is used to familiarize students with database design, data modeling and normalization, query optimization, functional dependencies, data integrity, and data security.
Advanced Programming Techniques and Data Structure Lab
This lab is used to familiarize students with tables, linked lists, queues and stacks, abstract data types, recursion, searching and sorting, hashing, binary trees.

Program Objective
The primary objective of this program is to provide a foundation of computing principles and business practices for effectively using/managing information systems and enterprise software. It helps students analyse the requirements for system development and exposes students to business software and information systems. This course provides students with options to specialize in legacy application software, system software or mobile applications.
