Visit to STP

The students of Civil Engineering department visited sewage treatment plant situated near the college campus. This visit helped students to enhance their collective theoretical and practical knowledge of treatment plants. Through the visit, students got an in- depth knowledge of the various components of the treatment plant. Physical observation of various processes of plants will definitely be enhanced the skill and understanding of the students. In the nutshell, the visit was quite helpful for the students to get the practical knowledge regarding the functioning and various processes of treatment plant.

DCA Week

The department of civil engineering organized DCA Week from 13th to 17th Feb, 2019. It helped students to enhance their technical knowledge and bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in real life environment.

Industrial Visit

An industrial visi was jointly organized by department of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering. The purpose of tour was make students understand work culture in industries.

The Training and Placement Cell always endeavors to visit industries more frequently to identify and analyze the current manpower requirements of industries. In addition, collaboration with industry in restructuring curriculum from time to time keeping with the changing technologies also takes place. The cell also explores the possibilities of getting consultancy/ project work for our institution through exposition of various talents available in the institution. As a proactive step, the Alumni Association for the college is also contacted to collect the feedback about information user system.
